Avisure audited the Christchurch International Airport Wildlife Management Program and delivered Wildlife Hazard Management Training.

In addition the auditing the Christchurch Airport Wildlife Management Program against national regulations and international standards, Avisure have regularly delivered training for all airport staff involved in wildlife hazard management, including an advanced training program for senior staff.

Furthermore, in 2003 Avisure was commissioned by Christchurch City Council to assess the change in risk of bird strike if a proposed international rowing course was to be built adjacent to Christchurch International Airport. Avisure’s risk assessment was instrumental in the project being abandoned in that location and more suitable locations are under consideration. This project demonstrates our international standing as experts in the field of bird and wildlife management.
