About the Role:
Based in our Burleigh Heads Office, with the ability to work flexibly from home, you will be reporting directly to the Avisure CEO.
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager with strong business operations experience and ideally an interest and/or experience in the consulting industry. You will be joining our growing company as we continue to expand through strategic business development. You will be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of business operations, driving efficiency, understanding project and client requirements, and assisting with large proposals and budgets.
We are looking for an experienced people manager with strong business acumen to facilitate the ongoing growth and success of this team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in a General Manager/Operations Manager role or similar role
- The ability to build successful team dynamics, guide direct reports, mentor staff and support strategic recruitment for ongoing growth.
- Experience using business management software to develop reports for monitoring indicators of financial health and performance.
- Knowledge of how to use technology to improve efficiency, performance and quality.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to:
- oversee daily business operations, including vehicle fleet management
- develop and oversight project budgets
- support leaders to project manage within scope, budget, and timeframes
- optimise pricing strategies
- analyse accounting and financial data to ensure targets are achieved
- evaluate business performance and productivity
- prepare and present quarterly and annual reports
- remain informed of industry strategies and trends.
- High level interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
- Strong bid and proposal management skills.
- Experience in business development and assisting with securing a pipeline of work.
- The ability to prioritise and effectively manage competing tasks across projects and teams.
